Our love story began at Westlake High School during our junior year, where two new faces found themselves in the same history class. It was here that our friendship blossomed, marked by shared laughter and unforgettable moments. As fate would have it, he emerged as the captain of the basketball team while I stepped into the role of captain of the cheerleading squad. It was a dynamic duo, as we cheered each other on from the sidelines—our bond forming naturally over time.

 

Years passed, and after I graduated from Spelman College and he completed his studies at William Penn, we experienced a beautiful twist of fate. We reconnected, intending only to catch up briefly. However, it turned into a whirlwind of spontaneous adventures as we explored our city and beyond, creating heartfelt memories along the way. With every shared laugh and late-night chat, our friendship transformed into a deeper love.

 

We quickly realized that our connection was unbreakable, as we fell head over heels for one another. Together, we embraced the beauty of life and its surprises. Our love story flourished, leading to the greatest blessing of our lives—welcoming four beautiful daughters into our world. Through thick and thin, we have built our family, traveled to breathtaking places, and started creating generational wealth, always pulling together for a brighter future.
